Bad Impression (Poll Story for poll ending August 1st)

There was no cover up when it finally did happen. How could there be? The ship entered orbit, and every radar station on the planet could see it. Heck, the thing was big enough to be seen with the naked eye. Orbiting for a month, the ship crossed oceans and countries alike. There was panic in the streets below for the first week or two. The looting and rioting ended after that, the party goers grew bored and took down the “Welcome to Earth” signs, and life tried to get back to normal.
